Evolved online now!

There is no saying enough about Bungie's Halo: Combat Evolved. It
first released with the X Box on November 15, 2001, and almost everyone who
bought an X Box, bought Halo (including myself). Not much was known
about this First Person Shooter (FPS), save for a couple screenshots and
vague story line found at xbox.com and
bunie.net. Needless to say, X Box owners were in for a treat. |

THE Single Player Experience
Most people when they popped in Halo had no
idea what they were about to experience. A perfect combination of stealthy
sniping and run-and-gun close combat, Halo was fun right from the start.
Halo gently brings players into the Halo world in a "tutorial" mission where you
learn to maneuver and shoot as your ship is being invaded by an evil alien race
known as the Covenant. Any newbie FPS could grasp the large and
intimidating X Box controller (X Box now sells the box with a Controller-S.
It used to sell with the GOOD controller) and learn with relative ease.
The graphics are beyond awesome, the game play was better
than the best, and it had new, revolutionary ideas. Not to mention the
best story line for ANY game I've seen in a while. When you first play
Halo, it takes more than once through the games 10 massive
levels to get over the shock of how awesome the graphics are. After
that, you realize that there is more to see than just the graphics. In
depth game play is something Bungie does very well. Smart AI, helpful
marines, vehicles, alien weapons...it's all here. Sound cool?
Halo 2 is supposed to make Halo look like pacman...
